Peter O’Connor


Founder and Director of O’Connor Law, Peter has been a solicitor since 1982 and has more than 35 years professional experience in commercial law, corporations law, estate planning and wills, commercial and residential property, superannuation, succession planning, trusts, leasing and securities.


Peter has extensive experience negotiating, documenting and dealing with issues arising from corporate and commercial transactions involving families, sole traders, partnerships, joint ventures and large and publicly listed companies, as well as complex estate and succession planning advice and will drafting. He has been involved in large commercial transactions, the establishment, compliance and operation of corporations and of self-managed superannuation funds, conveyancing of property and business, the establishment of and advice regarding trusts and estate planning and leasing. He also has experience in the areas of commercial litigation, general litigation, family law and personal injuries.

As well as his law and commerce qualifications, Peter also holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and prior to retiring as a financial planner in 2012, was a Certified Financial Planner.
