Ben has worked at O’Connor Law at various times and in various capacities since the commencement of the firm in 2008, when his first job was assembling office furniture. Ben graduated his Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws (with first class honours) from the University of Queensland in July 2016, and is back at O’Connor Law on a part time basis as he completes a Diploma of Legal Practice in order to seek admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Experience
Ben has worked on a part time basis as an accounts clerk, receptionist, general office clerk and more recently as a paralegal legal graduate. To a more legal role at the firm, gaining invaluable experience in seeing the law in practice and working with both young and experienced practitioners.
During the practical elements of his legal training Ben has developed an interest and experience in Mental Health Law and hopes to work pro bono as an advocate in the Mental Health Review Tribunal for the foreseeable future.
